Throughout the course of Dada World Fair the Dada at Sea Project will host events upon the high seas.

Dada at Sea Inauguration
Location: Sea Scout Base, Maritime Park, San Francisco                                                                                                                                                           In this grand celebration, Dada at Sea embarks upon its maiden voyage, communicating with the spirits of bygone airmen and mariners, setting forth its agenda for the festival through an interactive floating and land-based environments. Installation created by Drs. Linus Lancaster and Frederick Young with the assistance of art students from Healdsburg High School, University of California, Merced, and the San Francisco Art Institute will be unveiled for the first time. Sculptures, radio transmitters, miniature galleries, orgone accumulators will be utilized to convene with inter-dimensional Dadaists breaking through the aether into our present space-time continuum.

Decommissioning Ceremony and performance. Dada @ Sea bids farewell to the Bay as it embarks upon it’s larger mission of expanding its reach into internationa waters. Come join the the festivities as the project decomissions itself into another dimension.

Directions to Dada at Sea:

Dada at Sea is being hosted at The San Francisco Sea Scout Base, located at the foot of Van Ness Avenue in Aquatic Park. Just a short walk from Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghirardelli Square, the base is right in the center of San Francisco’s lively waterfront. If you are traveling to the base on Muni, the 30, 47, and 49 lines go straight to Van Ness and North Point, and from there you walk down the hill until you reach the boathouse right before the municipal pier at 3500 Van Ness Ave. If you’re driving, there’s usually parking on Van Ness Avenue.
